notTV Live. Truckers vs. Trudeau. Day 10 – Update #1
On the road again in Ottawa, Ontario
Travis and Chad left Salmon Arm, British Columbia on January 23 and continue to bring coverage as they try and get word on the street about what is going on in Ottawa, Ontario with the Freedom Convoy 2022.
In the News:
Travis tells us that the Conservatives are having an emergency caucus meeting right now to possibly vote Erin O’Toole, leader of the Conservative party, out as leader. There needs to be a majority vote to remove O’Toole.
O’Toole says he welcomes a leadership review.
Pierre Poilievre wants hard working, blue collar Canadians to be heard and understood. In the House of Commons during question and answer period he asks direct questions. He does not understand why the Liberals are not listening to the hard working Canadians across this country.
Chad tells us they have been invited to a local Mosque to pray. This is a good opportunity to take some time out for spirituality. It has been ten days on this journey with no clear idea of when they will head home. Time out for some meditation and self care is a good idea to maintain balance during this unfolding story.
The mood on the street is a bit quieter downtown today. The initial excitement and energy with the arrival of the convoy has lessened, but the people in the convoy are still standing their ground. And there continues to be a great deal of support from people on the street.
Celebrations only last so long. And now the work begins.
