Ottawa Police Press Release Protest Charge Laid
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Sunday, February 27, 2022 11:40am
(Ottawa)–Today, the Ottawa Police Service charged Steeve CHARLAND, 48 years old, of Grenville, Quebec, in relation to the recent unlawful protest in Ottawa. He was arrested last evening by the OPP in the Vankleek Hill area.
The Criminal Investigations Section charged CHARLAND with:
- Mischief;
- Counselling to Commit the Offence of Mischief.
He is scheduled to appear in court today.
